SparkVault Advanced Tab Manager Privacy Policy
Last updated: Nov 28, 2025 • Extension: SparkVault Suite
Privacy Policy
SparkVault Advanced Tab Manager is designed with a strict privacy-first philosophy. All tab information, interface settings, layout preferences, and user-initiated actions remain fully on your device. The Extension does not collect, transmit, process, or share any personal data or browsing activity. Everything you see and do within the Extension stays stored locally inside your browser.
What data we do not collect
- We do not collect personal information such as names, emails, accounts, or identifiers.
- We do not collect your browsing history, visited websites, page content, or tab behavior.
- We do not upload, store, or sync any information about your open tabs, pinned status, muted status, or bookmarks.
- We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, advertising technologies, or share any data with third parties.
Local-only operation
All functionality—tab listing, searching, layout switching, favicon detection, tab activation, and one-click actions (reload, duplicate, pin/unpin, mute/unmute, bookmark, close)—operates entirely on your device. No tab data ever leaves your machine. The Extension has no servers, no cloud system, and no remote communication of any kind.
Permissions
SparkVault Advanced Tab Manager uses the following permissions solely to provide tab-management features:
- tabs — Used to list open tabs, access their title, URL, favicon, and tab state (muted or pinned), and perform user-initiated actions. SparkVault does not inspect page content or log browsing data.
- activeTab — Allows interaction with the currently active tab only when triggered by direct user action. Not used to monitor browsing.
- bookmarks — Allows saving tabs to user-selected bookmark folders. SparkVault does not read, analyze, or modify bookmarks beyond the user’s explicit save request.
- <all_urls> — Ensures consistent favicon retrieval and supports tab actions across all sites. No content from visited pages is analyzed, stored, or transmitted.
These permissions are never used for tracking, profiling, analytics, or data transmission.
Data visibility and control
You have complete control over all Extension behavior and data. You may close tabs, pin/unpin them, mute/unmute them, or remove them at any time. The Extension stores only lightweight interface settings such as view mode or modal visibility. Uninstalling the Extension removes any stored preferences automatically.
Optional future cloud features
If future versions introduce optional cloud features (such as tab syncing or configuration backup), these would require explicit user consent, manual setup, and secure encrypted communication. No cloud feature will ever be enabled automatically or without clear user authorization.
Security
All data is processed in the isolated, sandboxed environment provided by your browser. If future cloud features are introduced, they will use strong encryption, modern authentication standards, and industry-standard security practices to protect user data.
Children’s privacy
SparkVault Advanced Tab Manager is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store any information from children. If any such data is discovered, it will be removed immediately.
Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Extension evolves. Updates will be shown on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be communicated within the Extension interface.
