Terms of Use
By installing, accessing, or using SparkVault Webpage Text Editor (“the Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.
License
SparkVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, educational, or internal business purposes. This license allows you to edit and save text on webpages locally, customize themes, and manage edits across sites. Ownership of the Extension and all its components remains with Productivity Master X-Ultra.
Usage restrictions
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the Extension except as permitted by law.
- You may not use the Extension for unlawful, malicious, or harmful purposes.
- You may not sell, rent, lease, or distribute the Extension or any part of it without written consent from SparkVault.
- You may not use the Extension to collect or intercept personal data from websites in violation of privacy laws or website terms of service.
- You must use the Extension only for editing and personalizing webpages on sites where you have permission to do so.
Permissions
The Extension uses the following permissions:
- activeTab — to edit text on the current webpage.
- storage — to save edits, theme settings, and per-site configurations locally.
- tabs — to identify and manage edits across multiple browser tabs.
- unlimitedStorage — to store large amounts of edits and customizations locally.
These permissions are strictly for the functionality of the Extension and are not used for tracking or data collection.
Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring the Extension functions properly within your browser and environment. While designed to enhance productivity and personalization, the Extension is provided “as is” without warranty of performance, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.
Third-party content
The Extension interacts with websites and online content that you edit. SparkVault is not responsible for the content, security, or policies of those external sites. Users should review the respective terms and privacy practices of any website they modify.
Intellectual property
All trademarks, names, logos, and design elements associated with SparkVault Webpage Text Editor remain the property of Productivity Master X-Ultra. Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkVault and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Extension, including loss of edits, productivity, or data.
Updates and termination
Updates may be released to improve security, functionality, or themes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. SparkVault may suspend or terminate access at any time for policy violations or technical reasons.
Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be handled according to local regulations.
Changes to these terms
SparkVault may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
