Privacy Policy

SparkVault Risk Impact Evaluator is built with strict privacy-first principles. The extension evaluates the permissions and configuration metadata of installed extensions in order to calculate risk scores. All analysis is performed locally within your browser environment. No browsing activity, webpage content, or personal data is accessed or transmitted.

What data we do not collect

• We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or identifiers.
• We do not access or collect browsing history, webpage content, search queries, or form data.
• We do not monitor user activity across websites or track behavior.
• We do not send extension data, results, or metadata to external servers.
• We do not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking services.

Local-only processing

All risk evaluation is performed locally using extension metadata provided by the browser. Risk scores, breakdowns, and visualizations exist only in memory or local storage for display purposes. No information leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

Permissions

SparkVault Risk Impact Evaluator uses a single permission:

• management — required to read installed extension metadata such as permissions, version numbers, enabled status, and identifiers in order to calculate risk scores.

This permission is used exclusively to analyze extension configurations. It is never used to access webpage content, user data, or browsing behavior.

Data visibility and control

You have full visibility into all analyzed information. Risk scores and permission breakdowns are displayed transparently within the interface. You may enable, disable, uninstall, or export extension data at your discretion. Uninstalling SparkVault Risk Impact Evaluator immediately removes all local data.

Third-party services

SparkVault Risk Impact Evaluator does not integrate with third-party services, cloud platforms, analytics providers, or advertising networks. The extension operates entirely offline.

Remote code

This extension does not load, execute, or evaluate remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. All logic is packaged directly within the extension.

Security

The extension operates within the browser’s secure extension sandbox and follows best practices to minimize permissions and reduce attack surface.

Children’s privacy

SparkVault Risk Impact Evaluator is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. The extension does not knowingly collect information from children.

Policy changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the extension’s functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
