Terms of Use
By installing, accessing, or using SparkVault Webpage Element Blocker (“the Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.
License
SparkVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, educational, or internal business purposes. This license allows you to block webpage elements, apply previews, manage per-site rules, restore history, and customize browsing behavior. Ownership of the Extension and all associated assets remains with Productivity Master X-Ultra.
Usage restrictions
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the Extension except as allowed by law.
- You may not use the Extension for unlawful, malicious, abusive, or harmful activities.
- You may not sell, rent, or sublicense the Extension without written permission from SparkVault.
- You may not use the Extension to collect, scrape, or extract personal data from any user or website.
- You may not use the Extension in ways that violate any website’s terms of service or applicable privacy laws.
- You must use the Extension responsibly and for its intended purpose: customizing your browsing experience by blocking unwanted webpage elements.
Permissions
The Extension uses the following permissions strictly to support element blocking, previews, and rule storage:
- activeTab / scripting — Allows the Extension to temporarily inspect and manipulate elements you select on a webpage.
- storage — Stores your per-site blocked elements, history, and preferences locally.
- optional host permissions — Enable automatic re-application of your saved rules on sites you choose.
These permissions are never used for tracking, analytics, monitoring, or external data collection.
Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use the Extension and for any changes you apply to the websites you visit. While the Extension is designed to safely hide elements, SparkVault Webpage Element Blocker is provided “as is” without warranties of performance, compatibility, or reliability. Blocking certain elements may affect site functionality. Use of the Extension is at your own risk.
Third-party content
The Extension operates on top of external websites but does not alter, store, or transmit their underlying content. SparkVault is not responsible for the behavior, security, or availability of third-party sites. You are responsible for complying with all applicable terms of any website you access.
Intellectual property
All branding, icons, UI layouts, posters, theme designs, names, and visual assets associated with SparkVault Webpage Element Blocker are the exclusive property of Productivity Master X-Ultra. Unauthorized copying, rebranding, modification, or redistribution is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkVault and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of productivity, misconfigured site rules, unexpected visual changes, or data loss resulting from your use or inability to use the Extension.
Updates and termination
The Extension may receive updates to enhance performance, security, or features. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms. SparkVault reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for technical, security, or policy-related reasons.
Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from use of the Extension shall follow applicable legal procedures in your region.
Changes to these terms
SparkVault may revise these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
