SparkVault Cookies Manager Privacy Policy
Last updated: Nov 13, 2025 • Extension: SparkVault Suite
Privacy Policy
SparkVault Cookies Manager is designed with a strict privacy-first approach. It enables you to search, view, manage, and export your browser’s cookies locally — without sending or sharing any data externally. All cookie access, analysis, and management occur directly within your device and browser environment.
What data we do not collect
- We do not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, emails, or passwords.
- We do not track your browsing history, page content, or visited URLs.
- We do not upload, transmit, or share your cookie data with any server or third party.
- We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising networks.
Local-only operation
All cookie management, searches, and exports are handled locally within your browser. Cookie data, filters, and settings are stored only in your browser’s local storage and remain on your device. You have complete control over all cookie data — nothing is sent to any remote server or external service.
Permissions
SparkVault Cookies Manager uses minimal permissions required for its core functionality:
- cookies — to read, modify, and delete browser cookies within your active sites.
- tabs — to display cookies for currently open websites and sync changes in real time.
- <all_urls> — to view cookies across all domains for accurate cookie management.
- storage — to save your interface preferences, filters, and theme selections locally.
These permissions are used strictly to display and manage your cookies. SparkVault never uses them for tracking or collecting personal data.
Data visibility and control
You maintain full control over all cookie data viewed or modified within the extension. You may delete individual cookies, clear all cookies for a specific site, or export selected data in JSON format for your own use. All actions are performed manually and locally — removing the extension automatically deletes all stored settings.
Third-party services
SparkVault Cookies Manager does not rely on or connect to any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. If future optional features (such as cloud sync or backup) are introduced, they will be fully transparent, disabled by default, and require explicit user consent before activation.
Future cloud features
In future versions, SparkVault may offer optional cloud-based cookie backups or multi-device sync. These features will require user authentication and explicit opt-in. Only the minimal data necessary for synchronization will be securely encrypted and transmitted via HTTPS/TLS.
Security
All operations occur within Chrome’s secure extension environment. SparkVault never bypasses or weakens your browser’s built-in cookie protections. If optional online features are added in the future, all transmitted data will use strong encryption and authentication standards to preserve confidentiality and integrity.
Children’s privacy
SparkVault Cookies Manager is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process any data from minors. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately upon notification.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated to reflect new features or security improvements. All updates will be listed here with a revised “Last updated” date, and major changes will be clearly communicated within the extension.
