SparkVault Task Manager Privacy Policy
Last updated: Nov 20, 2025 • Extension: SparkVault Suite
Privacy Policy
SparkVault Task Manager is built with a strict privacy-first philosophy. All tasks, groups, progress data, icons, timestamps, and settings are stored locally on your device only. The extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information or browsing activity. Your entire workspace stays on your machine at all times.
What data we do not collect
- We do not collect personal information such as names, emails, phone numbers, or accounts.
- We do not collect your browsing history, visited pages, or content from the sites you access.
- We do not collect or upload your tasks, task groups, icons, progress, or settings.
- We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, advertising IDs, or share data with any third parties.
Local-only operation
All functionality—including task creation, group management, completion tracking, starred items, layout ordering, and theme preferences—operates entirely within your browser. No data leaves your device unless you manually choose to export it. Your workspace remains private, self-contained, and fully under your control.
Permissions
SparkVault Task Manager uses the following permissions solely to deliver its task-management features:
- None — SparkVault Task Manager currently does not require any additional browser permissions.
These permissions are never used to collect personal data, monitor browsing habits, or communicate with external servers.
Data visibility and control
You have complete control over your stored data. You may edit, reorder, delete tasks or groups at any time. You can clear all data instantly from the extension. Import and export actions are manual and optional, allowing you to back up or transfer your workspace as needed. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data automatically.
Optional future cloud features
Future versions may introduce optional cloud sync or backup features to support multi-device continuity. These would always require explicit consent, a user-initiated setup process, and secure encrypted transfers. No cloud service will ever activate without your permission.
Security
All data is processed inside your browser’s protected environment. If optional cloud features are introduced later, they will rely on hardened encryption, secure authentication, and modern best-practice security protocols to protect your information.
Children’s privacy
SparkVault Task Manager is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect or request information from children. If any such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the extension evolves. All updates will be posted on this page along with a revised “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be communicated within the extension.
