Terms of Use

By installing, accessing, or using SparkVault Secure Website Locker (“the Extension”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.

License

SparkVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, educational, or internal business purposes. This license allows you to lock websites, secure domains or pages, manage local passwords, verify master credentials, use PIN unlocking, and protect access to specific web content. Ownership of the Extension and all associated assets remains with Productivity Master X-Ultra.

Usage restrictions

• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the Extension except where permitted by law.
• You may not use the Extension for unlawful, harmful, or malicious purposes.
• You may not sell, rent, or sublicense the Extension without written permission from SparkVault.
• You may not use the Extension to circumvent website restrictions, violate site terms, or interfere with third-party security systems.
• You must use the Extension only for its intended purpose: locking websites locally for personal privacy and access control.

Permissions

SparkVault Secure Website Locker uses the following permissions solely to support secure website-locking, domain/page detection, and local session handling:

• tabs — Used only to detect when protected sites are opened or closed, allowing session unlocks to expire when all related tabs are closed. SparkVault does not read page content or track browsing.
• storage — Used exclusively to save your locked sites, hashed credentials, PIN hashes, security key data, and unlock sessions locally on your device. No information is uploaded or synced.
• webNavigation — Required to intercept attempts to access locked pages and redirect users to the secure unlock screen before a page loads. SparkVault does not analyze webpage content.
• <all_urls> — Necessary to reliably detect locked sites across all domains. This permission is never used to monitor browsing or collect website data.

These permissions are not used for analytics, tracking, advertising, or external communication.

Responsibility

You are responsible for setting and managing your master password, PIN, locked sites, security key files, and any password-protected entries. The Extension is provided “as is” without guarantees of performance, security, or reliability. Use of the Extension is at your own risk.

Third-party content

The Extension does not alter or modify third-party websites. It only restricts your access based on your own local rules. SparkVault is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, functionality, or security of any external site. Users must follow the terms and policies of any websites they access.

Intellectual property

All branding, icons, UI layouts, posters, names, visual elements, and design features associated with SparkVault Secure Website Locker are the exclusive property of Productivity Master X-Ultra. Unauthorized copying, modification, or redistribution is prohibited.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkVault and its developers are not liable for any data loss, access denial, forgotten credentials, corrupted vault entries, unauthorized modifications, or other consequences resulting from using or being unable to use the Extension.

Updates and termination

The Extension may update automatically to improve functionality, security, or compatibility. Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of revised terms. SparkVault may restrict access or disable the Extension for violations, misuse, or security concerns.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from the use of the Extension shall follow the applicable legal processes in your region.

Changes to these terms

SparkVault may update these Terms periodically. Revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Extension signifies acceptance of any revised terms.
